A case of multiple cemento-osseous dysplasia associated with simple bone cysts resembling bone cavities

Cement-osseous dysplasia is a disease of localized fibrotic connective tissue proliferation accompanying cementum or bone-like hard at the tooth apex, while simple bone cyst specific featuring cavity without epithelial lining. Here, we report case cement-osseous associated with multiple cysts resembling cavities. A 60-year-old woman was referred to our hospital due complaint recurring pain and swelling her right mandibular molars over several years. Her dentist had found abnormalities in X-ray imaging. images showed crescent shaped radio-opacity apex first second premolars, also radiolucent areas molar mandible body, left premolar maxillary canine apexes. Enucleation cystectomy were planned under clinical diagnosis residual radicular cysts. However, cystic lesions revealed be hollow, no lining epithelium only slight granulation-like on wall, except for premolars. The histopathological dysplasia.
